Izumo Taisha Shrine: Kiccho shinju.

Izumo Taisha is one of the most ancient and important Shinto shrines in Japan. No record gives the date of establishment. Located in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture, it is home to two major festivals. It is dedicated to the god Ōkuninushi (Ōkuninushi-no-mikoto), famous as the Shinto deity of marriage. (Wikipedia)

Kyoto. Rock Garden of Ryoan-Ji Temple.

Ryoan-Ji Temple - is a Zen temple located in northwest Kyoto. Belonging to the Myoshin-ji school of the Rinzai branch of Zen Buddhism, the temple and karesansui garden is one of the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Temple was built in 1450 by Hosokawa Katsumoto. Due to numerous fires the Temple did not reach nowadays in its original form.
