Another official Finnish card. This time it shows Uspenski cathedral in Helsinki. This is an Eastern Orthodox cathedral, dedicated to the Dormition of the Theotokos (the Virgin Mary). Its name comes from the Russian word "uspenie", which denotes the Dormition. Built in 1862-1868. Uspenski Cathedral is the main cathedral of the Finnish Orthodox Church in the diocese of Helsinki, and is claimed to be the largest orthodox church in Western Europe.

Еще одна финская официальная открытка. на сей раз на ней изображен Успенский собор в Хельсинки. Это православный собор, возведенный в 1862-1868 г.г. в честь Успения Девы Марии. Собор является главным храмом Финской православной церкви в Хельсинской епархии, и считается самым большим православным храмом в Западной Европе.
